Elysium PvP - Alliance

Recommended Posts

I know my friends and I know they will ask me to form a guild, since it's always me who does it.

I will not say the guild name until it's formed to prevent stealy steals though. You might have heard of us if you played in any of the following realms. I'm not sure it's allowed to name other servers here, in which case I'm sorry and feel free to edit them out. All of them have been closed for years so there's no harm really.

Private:

- Worldofopportunities
- Belldandy
- Burning WoW
- Toxic WoW
- WoW Core

Retail:

- Los Errantes
- The Sha'tar

Language

The guild will be founded by a Spanish player (me) and a Geordie. We have cool headsets and speak English, so don't fret. We will not judge you based on your language skills. Everyone is welcome as long as we can understand you, may it be via voice or mad typing skills.

I would like to encourage Spanish players to join us, since I believe you'll find it quite confortable here, but at the same time I don't want to discourage everyone else. I swear I will never allow this to turn into a Spanish spam fest. This is an international guild after all.

Levelling

We like the experience of developing a character and it's relationships throughout time. We do not intend to rush level 60. Let's be honest: nobody is going to have the level or gear to raid for a long time in this realm, so there's no rush. We like the idea of grinding together, spending time on our professions, chatting on guild channel, crafting pants for each other, stopping for a chat with a random Dwarf we bumped into, etc. Mindlessly running from one quest to the next like zombies is something we don't do.

Instances are included in the pack. Yes, yes, it's a chore to recruit 5 people and travel to the other end of the planet to get close to zero experience, but it's an adventure and we love doing it.

PvP

We love outdoor PvP. The game would be pointless if I could never run into members of the opposite faction in Stonetalon. Questing with a friend in a contested zone is the best part of WoW for me.

Battlegrounds? I tend to stay out of them. Those places are chaotic; infested with stupid people who can't make decisions or follow simple orders. But this is only my point of view, not the guild's. If you like BGs and you'd like to organise them, just say it. We need officers who can take care of this part.

Raids

As I said, nobody is gonna be raiding for a while, but once we get there, yes, of course. We already have an officer for this but we'll need more.

So where do you fit?

I, as a guild master, will mostly stay in charge of guild organisation in general terms. That means rules, recruitment, relations, economy, communication, and other boring stuff. Yes, I have a couple of friends but not enough to run a guild. I'm really in need of trustworthy people who can run the guild with me, so if you're willing to take part just holler.

And if you like to stick around and enjoy a nice guild while you play at your own pace this is your place too. Just tag along and feel the love.

There is no raiding time yet.

Once we have enough people to actually raid, I'm assuming the raid leaders will decide what time suits us better as a whole. As I said, it's an international guild. Me being Spanish means nothing.

Hey there, jefe.

I'm really interested in your international project, and totally like your way of thinking and the way you approach the Vanilla experience as I used to do back in retail's time.

Back in Cata used to play in a PvP Horde guild in Los Errantes too, being spanish myself, so maybe that's a nice starting point!

I'll leave this comment here to check how the thread goes, and contact you when the launch date approaches, if I may.

This sounds like something I'd be interested in, since I agree with your overall play philosophy. I used to raid hardcore back in real vanilla but now just want to take my time and enjoy the journey to end game.

Only downside is I'm Oceanic (GMT+10), but if it's an international guild that may not be a problem. I also have some experienced old school IRL friends who are keen to play casually. If you think you can put up with a handful of unruly Australians we might be the right fit for you.

I'll keep an eye on this page.
