Yahoo Verification Email Issue

Still nothing, it's been 24 hours for me.

Came home from work, received 3 email verifications (been almost 24 hours). all 3 of them were invalid because I requested multiple verification emails.

The problem isn't Yahoo. The problem is that the server drags its попа on sending the emails. I just had 26 verifications flood in all at once today. Tried a dozen of so, none worked, so assuming all of them are a bust. It seems that eventually, they show up, but by the time they do, they don't work. If you have several, it doesn't matter which one you use, none will work. They must have an expiration time out that's already ticked before they are even sent . Each one I've tried just goes to this:

 

"Oh. Your activation code is invalid. Please verify the link that was sent in your email.
If this keeps happening, contact an administrator on Discord."

-In other words, the thing has already expired.

 

While typing this post, I literally just received 2 more, which I requested at least an hour ago. No surprise, neither of them worked. If you're going to drag попа sending them to me, then don't put a short expiration timer on them.

maybe they are overwriting each other so only the last one will be valid, if and when it comes.  so if ya spammed it like 20 times, yer gonna have to wait through 19.

One finally arrived fast enough to use it, and I was able to get my 2nd account done. I suggest you just try it once, wait 30m, if you don't see it by then, may as well try again, eventually the server will wake up and send one fast enough to use it. My first account didn't have to struggle for several days like this. They're both Yahoo.

Been trying for hours but couldn't get either the forums nor game account registration to send a validation until just now, when i tried again.

Both came to my Yahoo inbox instantly. Maybe try it now

I've used my token on an unverified account.
A GM told me that, that is not possible, it got confirmed now though that it was and they are working on fixing it, right?

36 hours and counting and none of the 20 ish verification emails I requested have turned up (BT Internet email - my ISP). I created a Gmail and verified and transferred my chars last night so I'm all set, other than the fact I've got my chars on a throwaway email where I'd have preferred them to be on my old Nost email account.

Someone on Discord gave me this advice (I forgot who it was or I would give them credit).

 

Verification emails weren't coming through to my Yahoo account until about 18 hours after I requested them.  The person on Discord mentioned that he was in a similar scenario but did "one last request" yesterday morning (US time) and it came through instantly.  Being out of options, I decided to give it a shot and figured what the hell.  When I woke up this morning, I saw that a bulk of verification emails had arrived (all requested at some point yesterday and all invalid).  I submitted another verification request (9:30am EST), and magically, it arrived instantly!  I don't know what it is with the Yahoo servers, but perhaps there is some kind of window that allows emails through during certain times?  Whatever the reason is, I would give it a shot.

I received 5 verification emails this morning that I requested yesterday evening. Finally got one that worked, but it wasn't the most recent. Was the second one sent, so be sure to check all of them if you aren't.

Finally received my verification email this morning. YES!

I just received a working verification email myself.  I tried it three times yesterday and the second of three emails received today activated my account.  Definitely check any and all emails that come in.
