Nost Password Convention or Email Keyword

Hey all,

 

I am currently in the process of trying to generate a token to transfer my Nostalrius characters to my new Elysium account. Unfortunately, I do not seem to remember my password so I am trying to remember which email I used to create my Nost account. I was hoping that someone who knew which email they used to create their nost account could tell me a searchable keyword that was part of a confirmation email or something similar that they received from Nost, this way I can just log into my various email accounts and use the search function to see if that account has any correspondence with Nostalrius. Fwiw, I have tried searching Nostalrius, Nost, wow, vanilla, and server on my most used account already.

 

Alternatively, if the above proves unsuccessful, then maybe someone such as an administrator could remind me what the password creation requirements were for the Nostalrius server so that if there were special requirements, such as both capital and lower case letters, then I would be more likely to narrow down my list of passwords and remember what I used. For example, some passwords require that there be at least 8 character, upper and lower case, must include a number, must include a special character (!@#^&*), etc.

 

Hopefully one of these methods works out, as I am pretty sure I used the correct account name. If not, well then FML.

I am also having issues creating a token, I'm pretty sure my login is correct and the email is def correct. I press to generate and it hangs for about 30 secs and says generating then says account info incorrect. If I change the letter to lower case it automatically gives me the error message. If anyone is having this issue or knows how to resolve it please could you let me know? Regards.

What happens when only trying your email? Leave the password blank.

It depends...

If you did register your Nost account in "early days" of Nostalrius

you did not receive any email to validate or anything.

You could just enter a trash mail and were able to login.

 

I dont´t know when exactly they changed this.

So maybe you will find no email from Nostalrius.

I guess I'll just go to trial and error.

 

Now I've only got like 85 emails, 40 passwords, and 6 potential usernames to try out!

 

I'll see you all back here in 13 hours when I've run out of combinations to try.

I just hate that I had to delete my old WTF file per Elysiums instructions in order to get into the final stress test, and now I cant look up my account name anymore :V

For those looking to reclaim a Nostalrius account - you can now do so by providing information here:
https://elysium-project.org/recover/nostalrius

 

Unfortunately, in order to protect everyone's accounts, these are the only options available. If you cannot remember your email, you may be out of luck.

Keep in mind, that on the Token generation page, you only have to input your USERNAME & PASSWORD OR USERNAME & EMAIL. If you can't provide any of these details, unfortunately your account cannot be reclaimed.
