Are both servers postponed until January?

On the 17th of December will the old Nos server be released with the new server waiting until January?

 

I just want to make sure I am not looking into this wrong, if there is a release for Dec 17th will it be the PvP or PvE server?

 

And will the server be progressive, starting from the first patch or where Nos was left off?

Where Nostalrius "left off", 17th is the re-launch of the old PvP and PvE server.

17 December both the PvP server and PvE server will be going live. Together at the same time. They will be progressive from where Nostalrius was.

 

January is just for the fresh PvP server - which is progressive yes, they're releasing a timeline soon.

They have posted the timelines for Nost PvP and Nost PvE, both releasing this weekend (17th December).

As you can see they have dates included on which date a certain patch/update has been released or will be released.

So you can get an estimate on how far ther servers are in terms of progression.
