Daveybutter 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2016 So one of my character transfers from Nost is a priest. I remember specifically that I was going to level him holy. I've seen several videos and have read several post's about being able to heal as shadow while leveling. My priest is somewhere in the 20-30 bracket. My main reasoning for going holy is because I want to have a strong familiarity with the spells and have my rotation down for endgame. I'm debating going shadow to level easier, but would still appreciate the challenge of leveling holy. Any advice, thoughts, or insight is welcome! I never played priest during the vanilla days so its all still new to me. One Love. - Daveybutter

gotmilk0112 10 Report post Posted December 16, 2016 (edited) You don't need to be Holy to heal. Holy does not gain any extra healing spells that Shadow does not, outside of Holy Nova and LOLwell. If you level Holy, you're going to have a much harder time, unless you're in a group 100% of the time. I want to have a strong familiarity with the spells and have my rotation down for endgame. There is no "rotation" for healing. You use whichever spell the situation calls for. Which in healing's case, means using different ranks of Heal + Greater Heal, depending on how much health the target is missing.
