Elysium - Back to the 90`s ?!

Hi all, i hope someone can and will help!

 

I plan to play "ELYSIUM PvP" with my whole gaming clan, as soon as the server will be launched. We all do not have played Nostalrius and/or Valkyre and be more then HOT to play the best wow ever (vanilla) on the fresh realm "Elysium PvP".

 

Regarding this i do not have to say and mention that we are very sad and kind of disappointed that WE will not be able to play during the xmas holidays and new year :girl_cray: Who knows if all of us still wanna play then ... in future ... next year ... 2017?! ... We would have appreciated to launch all servers at the same time to be most fair for and to all. But back to topic:

 

 

I have signed up a brandnew account several days ago and NEVER EVER got any email to verify it! (And no, not even in the spam folder). I also have re-sent the confirmation mail several times with the tool which is offered if you try to login to the control panel. Hasnt worked neither! No mail, never.

 

Also as i have signed up to the forum (this one) i havn't got any email to verify it!

(Currently i am using a temporary useraccount to at least be able to ask for help here)

 

ISSUE:

I am sure and could bet that your system is oldschool and has problems with the email ending .email which i use.

But we are not living back in the 90's where only .com .net .org have been present. Right?

 

So i am kind of shocked that your system is having problems with modern, up to date and heavy used domain endings like .email and others. There are dozens of new domains beeing launched every year, so it would be helpful and nice if your system would also support those i guess.

 

Would it be possible to (finally) send me the verification emails for my play account and forum account to the registered email adress? This would be very much appreciated and helpful. :lovers:

Hint: My username for play account and also for the forum is "DELETED" - so you should find me in the database and can send me the verification emails as soon as your system is fixed/updated.

 

Thanks again and we will be happy to play "Elysium PvP" if we are not dead or uninterested until it will start somewhere in 2017  :confused:

 

By the way: i know you all doing a great job and earn nothing for it (you anyway wouldnt be allowed by law). So thanks for the hard work. But to have to register a temp account to inform you about the fact that your system is oldschool-outdated-90's-style is also wasting of lifetime ;-)

 

Keep up the hard work and i pray for all Elsyium PVP players that god will do a wonder and we can also play around xmas and new-year holidays.

First of all:

Even if i would understand what you are trying to tell me, i guess you dont want to really help me.

 

Second:

I will, of course, not make a gmail account never ever as i also will never ever use failbook or whatsapp because i am NOT a victim. right?

So i guess and hope that players have the FREE CHOICE of which email they will use to sign up for a play-account and forum-account, right? Yes, indeed.

 

Third:

You are the one deciding if over and out? Cool, havn't know this bro. Awesome.

 

 

And now i would appreciate trolls to leave this thread and people who really wanna help will join in.

Maybe someone who got the technical possibilities to fix the system and send me the both verification emails.

There was no trolling at all! It´s just how you entered the whole thread...please.

@Ninjada: Ok, but do you think this would help in any way? Already resent the validation email 4-5 times and none came thru. Repeating it won't solve the problem that the system obviously has with xxxxxxxx@yyyyyyyyy.email domain ending i guess.

 

But thanks, i gonna try to resent it several times, but doubt it will work :upset:

No, hopeless is just to get someone here who can really help!

 

1. Either fixing the system to also send activation emails correctly to ALL domains at this planet

2. Or to change my accounts emails to any oldschool-domain one i will provide to finall receive the activation emails.

 

But yes, the result will be to NOT play Elysium and go back to Blizzard, there they accept and have no problems with .email domains :D

 

Edit... Somethink to think about:

Telling a user to register a google(!) email instead of helping a new player and to fix his issue (which is not his fault), is kind of ridiculous. But heyyy, what do i expect?! It is still a wow-community!  :eek: 

No matter if original or private. So ... brain off, flame on. Keep it as it makes you happy.

 

It is sad, very ... but don't bothers you, i know.

 

So HI and BYE Elysium, this was a quick/short one, you just lost another 40-60 players as i am the clanleader and will decide now to not play Elysium. See ya... and get well all.

No question that a regular mail (com net org de) works, but this is NOT the right solution! It is just a bad joke that the russian server has problems with regular modern and VALID emails.

Aren't you being a tiny bit unfair and entitled temporaryuser? Try looking at it from their side. You are holding them up to an insane standard. You are comparing and expecting the same(or even better) treatment\standard than a middle sized mmorpg company that get's paid for their job.

 

Elysium is a small number of people, who does not get paid, that does this for free, as their hobby. You see how unfair that would be to compare them to a small top mid sized mmorpg game? Go look up the mmorpgs on steam, not many mmorpgs have this many people logged in at the same. Yet Elysium does! And they have to handled this on their free time, as volunteers, and for what? So people they can get slammed on the forums, for a something they do for free? That's not right!!!

 

I am disappointed as well, not because I expected everything to go smoothly and think they are doing a bad job. No but I am disappointed because I just want to play, but I sure as hell can understand the INSANE amount of work they are doing, and appreciated what they are doing for me for FREE. I am not paying a dime for this, how can I sit here and be condescending and yelling at them and DEMAND this service when I am not doing shot to deserve it?

 

I am sorry for everyone who has a problem, and yes feel free to leave, with all your 100 or so buddies. Guess what? There will be HUNDREDS and thousands behind you in the queue eager to take your place.

 

It's a handful of people doing the job of a hundred, show some empathy and understanding. It's not because they do not care, or are bad at their jobs, but they HAVE SO MUCH TO DO and they cannot get to everyone within a day and help out.

 

So sit your ungrateful попа down and try gmail, have some patient or move along.

Why do you immediately assume it's the "russian" server that has a problem? Without any evidence, you just assume, and once again be an ungrateful jerk.

 

Hotmail is currently rejecting all our emails due to the volume we have been sending out. We are hoping to fix this issue. In the meanwhile, if you can use Gmail instead, please do so.

You either try gmail, wait or leave. Of course it will be fixed, in time. I guess you did not try to look at it from their perspective right? Tomorrow when you go into work, you try do the job of 30 men in one day. Then get abuse because you failed, oh btw it was pro bono work and you did not get paid. See how reasonable that feels.
