My day so far .. Pretty much what I expected

Recommended Posts

I got into the PvE server around 5-7 minutes after 12pm EST.

I was able to get a few screenshots and create my character Faithdriven ( resto druid! which I've never raised to 60 in vanilla so it should be fun ).

Here is a screeny of me by the quest giver. Trying to get the quest but I couldn't do to lag.

I then logged out to try and fix some addons but was then disconnected. I couldn't get back in the server for about 45 minutes then I was in a que.. that I knew was going down much to fast .. when it got to zero i was disconnected.

Then i couldn't get back in for about 30 minutes.

Then I finally got what appeared to be a working queue and was in that for about an hour 5500 people in front.

Got to zero it asked me to then pick a realm .. which I had previously done.. so wtf?

I picked Nos PvE and was disconnected. I logged back in and the queue was 12,500. LOL

Luckily I have my guitar and watched some movies while I waited.. currently i'm in a queue of about 2,800 people.

So the servers went live 5 hours and 23 minutes ago and I've played about 5 minutes.

This is not me complaining just having fun at what obviously is a lot of people wanting to play on the Nostalrius servers. SO that is a good thing.

Hoping i get in soon!! :)

I didn't expect a smooth start, but it would've been fun to at least play a little on the opening day. Sat in a 12k queue to PvE for a while, then left it because I wanted to check the queue for PvP, which wasn't open at all. Again, it would've been fun to have played during the opening, but the important thing is that it's back!

Yes I am playing a resto druid! Which I'm excited about because I had always played priests before. I felt I should break away form my norm. Hope to see you on the PvE realm Happy :)

@Danko: Good luck with your mage! :)

I was waiting on the PVP server all day but I think i'm going to wait in this PVE queue just to get some experience with leveling while overpopulated for when the real server is released.

Shots fired!

Ticking down slowly but surely! Mine's at 2,300 now.

I took a break for a while when it was having issues earlier and got some food, haircut, showered... Then finally queued up on WoW and did some Christmas shopping on Amazon, and finished up some quests in Hearthstone while waiting. Now I'm bored and have what looks like about 30 minutes left so not too bad!

At least I got to make my toon earlier. :D Sexy flame bearded dwarf lord!

Similar day as many.

I finally got on maybe 15-20 min after launch. Made a few characters quick. Intended to log them all in then come back in a few weeks once everything has settled down (am i correct that you dont need to be at Inn or city to get rest xp, its just a lot slower?)

After logging in to first character got DC. Unable to get back on til the server was back up (and rolled back).

10000 Q, got below 2000 and got DC. Re logged. 6000 Q. 6 hours after launch i was able to get on, make characters, log them all on and then dive out of the way to allow someone else to play.
