Disconnected From Server Issue

Hello, 

 

After playing on the Nostalrius PvE server for six hours without any issues, I am disconnected from the game, and I am no longer able to login. When I attempt to login, I am given the message that I have been disconnected.

 

After trying to rename the config.wtf file (inside the WTF folder), I have managed to get past the login screen (to the character select screen). However, after I select a character, I am immediately disconnected from the server after I load into the game.

 

This disconnect issue has made the game unplayable at the moment, and I am not sure how to resolve the issue.

Same issue here, I logon with no issue and I get about 2-3 seconds in game before being disconnected.

I had this problem too. I just changed setrealmlist to "set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org" and in "config.wtf" i change that "us.logon..." to "logon.elysium-project.org" and it works !

Thanks for the input Vesemir, 

 

but I already have those settings changed as you have stated, and I am still getting the instant disconnect after loading into the game. I feel that this issue is beyond something I can fix at this point.

There's been 6 concurrent DDoS attacks, and thousands of people keep trying to force-log-in all at once.

 

It'll be a few days or so before we start to settle down, I can imagine.

anytime after a server crash, i get the issue with server disconnect when trying to load in.

 

this happens UNTIL there is a queue for the server. when there is a queue for the server i can then load into the game without being disconnected. but without waiting for a queue, I get disconnected after the loading screen. this is issue is reproduced after any server crash. please help me

I have same issue. 3 times I've gotten through after trying over and over and over for half an hour but no luck now. Works fine for logging into Kronos so I don't understand. Is frustrating when theres so many people online with no problem. I use wifi adapter

There was another post where someone said it may be related to how fast your pc loads into the game. Try taking your wow folder off your ssd, if you have it on one. Or load with some other stuff running.

I have the exactly same problem and like you, until a queue is required to login I get DCed after 1 sec of seeing my character. I don't have this game installed on a SSD so I don't really understand.

 

SPECS: I7 3930k @4 Ghz, R9 390, 8gb DDR3, 4K windowed

 

Things I've tried and did not work:

 

-deleting WTF, WDB

-game client restarts

-waiting 10 min or more at the character selection screen

-PC restarts

-changed config from WTF to one from another post

-restarted my internet connection

-ipconfig renew and flushdns

-no addons

-increase MB for addons

-new character on the same server

 

Only thing that seems to fix it is when I wait like 1 hour and I have to stay in queue to join but I dislike having the idea of playing and then having to stay 1h in queue to play again.

 

Friends say that after i DC I remain online for serveral minutes. Maybe this has something to do with the feature they added a couple of days ago:

 

"We are temporarily capping the PvP server at 9.5k. Additionally, there is now a 3 minute grace period to bypass the queue if you disconnect."

I have similar problem i just made the account and tried to login but i couldnt and with the same message all the time " Disconnected from server" 

Also i have renamed the file 'realmlist.wtf' to:

'set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org'

Hey guys I've found something that worked once for me, I did not have the occasion to test it again.

 

I moved my WOW directory from my hdd to ssd. I dont think that the different hardware did the trick but rather the different partition. Try it.

I highly doubt the new location is a solution to the problem, as of now the servers are maxed out to their capacity.
It's impossible to prevent some random disconnects every now and then, they are still trying to balance the servers configuration I've heard.

 

And soon there will be another realm, which will even the load a bit more.

It's a truth. And it goes on even right at this moment.)

In the first day of start we got 400-500ms ping, today we have 20-40ms ping for players from Europe.

It still works for me, I logged in right now with no queue but it can be from a different reason than the one I stated above.

 

In another topic one person seemed to pin point it to compatibility issues. After I moved my WoW folder my desktop shortcut became useless and I had to open wow directly from its folder and no compatibility settings were made. Try this.

I have the same problem, except that i was never able to play.

But i have a fix, at least for my problem.

I'm from germany using a hybrid technology for internet which includes LTE. If LTE and cable both are activated i'm not able to play. But if i disable LTE and only using cable for internet i have no problems.

But i'm not willing to disable LTE everytime i want to play on Elysium. There is an option to choose ports with which i only use normal cable but to use that i need to know the ports Elysium is using.

Maybe some of you can help me with that.

I had the same problem with normal WoW but Blizzard has a posting where you can find any ports they are using. After deactivating lte for these ports i was able to play WoW on official realms.
