Wouldn't this mean it's working fine? If the wand's damage is terrible, but the numbers are within the wand's damage range, wouldn't that imply it's working as intended, but the wand is terrible? The individual hits from a wand aren't going to do very significant damage. It's the quick rate of fire and zero mana cost that makes wands so effective. I'm not leveling a priest on this server, so I can't test this myself, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I don't imagine it's bugged or anything like that. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Maxvla 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2016 Wand spec is working fine. Wands were buffed later in the game. For example the common starter wand, Lesser Magic Wand, is currently a white item and does 5.7 dps. Maxvla 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2016 Are you sure it's not the wand itself? Look at the example I posted. Wands were doubled in power later. Otherwise, look at the wand's damage range, wand something, observe the damage, then compare to the range + 25% from talent. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

(Lesser/Greater Magic Wand) If you are, delete your WDB folder, because you're likely seeing an incorrect tooltip. These wands have lower damage because they were not upgraded to green until patch 1.9, and the servers aren't at that patch yet.
