A few sensible suggestions

First off all people should stop responding to feedback with the attitude "it's free. go to retail if you don't like it." Even if the way it's phrased is aggressive or rude sometimes, feedback is the most valuable kind of information a provider of goods can get their hands on. You should not discourage people from offering it.

 

Second, don't take up someone's place on Nost if you have no intention of playing on it once fresh comes out.

 

And last don't assume that your demands are more valid than someone else's. You all have the same purchasing power. 0. Thinking you are more important than another guy makes you look ridiculous.

Your post is just hypocritical. If someone wants to spend their time on the Nost servers while waiting for the fresh server, as you said, they can. "We all have the same purchasing power". Also, if someone wants to express their opinion they can do so how they please as long as they are not offending anyone.

I didn't say people shouldn't voice their opinion, just don't do it in a smug, condescending way. If you do that then you will not be listened to by anyone except those that already agree with you.

Showing respect to the Nost crowd and not hogging their spots and creating an artificial queue. Listening to everyone's point of view and not throwing tantrums and tossing insults every time you don't agree with something.

You amongst others are very good at splitting a community that's not very large to begin with. The absolute irony of having a "inner war" amongst fresh vs old people in this community when the same horrible and irrational "us vs them" mentality is going on with the private vs retail situation is depressing to watch. In a community where unity should be the focus, the focus is instead arguing about how one server is going to be better than the other. And not to mention the "get back to retail"-"arguments" when someone says something that the majority doesn't agree with. Good job!

The self-destruction going on is very uplifting(yeah, sarcasm) to watch in a community that claims it is better than the retail one. If you want a brighter future for private servers, stop acting like tribesmen.
