Ghostly 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2016 (edited) Well indeed no-lifers will be no-lifers, and it's normal with such time investment they will be top guilds no matter what. But like you said, for 90% of the server it will still be a fair and hard struggle competition, that's nowhere to be find if you begin now on the old Nost PVP. It's not really an accomplishment because as you said, no-lifers. If people really want to fight for Rank 1's and competition then the raids should be locked and opened when all guilds can go in at the same time and see who is more effective in the raids. All you're doing is comparing who has no life and can sit on the PC for 2 weeks while being supported by their parents most likely vs. those who do not have a guild of 40 loafers. As far as we know the first MC guild could take 2x longer to clear than the next guild entering, do they really deserve rank 1 status? I would disagree even if the one who did clear it was the best guild because chances are there was no competition. This is like the RuneScape hiscores, if you live in your mommy's basement you'll probably be at the top of the XP gains due to your lack of real world obligations. nachtdrache1987 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2016 I'm actually torn on which server I'm going to stick with. My concern for the new server is that its not an established population and you could easily see a large majority of the people coming to it just disappear when they reach the 30's and 40's. I really don't want to roll on a server just to end up on another dead vanilla server. At this pointI'm thinking of just staying on nost pvp and working my way to 60.

Dont know what to do but if realm get low populated after some time (but i doubt it will happen) they can enable trasnfers
Zen1337 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2016 The pop on pvp should be fine, new servers are being released and there still was a 3 k que today. If we assume that most people who are going to start on fresh, already stopped playing till start or never even started, it does suggest that population should be preatty much very similar just without the que as long as they don't freak out, its sad indeed the fresh server players trying to cause panic. There is way to many people that started and don't want to roll again.

Naah, the hype will die down, the peeps will go back to Nost PvP or PvE but the server won't die. It will have a high population for sure. Its a Fresh Vanilla PvP Server and carries the brand of Nostalrius with it, just by that its going to attract a lot of new people who weren't even playing on Nost. But let's wait and see, everyone is making their own predictions, we'll know in a month or two and then its still kinda Fresh so people who are too afraid to go there now can tag along for the ride as well
