i miss my 60. he was just a few weeks away from raiding. but im lvling a shaman now. 

all i have now is hope, hope that i can get them together on the server, and make lvling easier.

If you plan on making it easier by having your 60 follow your lowbie around and stuff, that'll get you banned. Multiboxing is not allowed.

nah they're supposed to be on the same account but what i want was for the 60 to make gear for the alt. my mains a weaponsmith and i was gonna craft nightfall for him when he was near raid rdy. also make a bit of gear as he's lvling. 

i don't multibox or anything i just use the crafting to mail them gear/potions/materials like i'd do on retail.

Yeah you'll be totally fine, and it is nice being able to gear out a lowbie character. I hope it gets resolved soon for you.

well if you look really close there are almost 200 posts in this thread alone and no one bothered to answer us. So yeah, i say that is as good thread as any, because right now, all i care about is some reaction from the dev team.

There's no need to flame the devs, this won't make it easier for them, they'll simply get pissed and might even take less consideration in making this a huge priority.

Trust me, I'm feeling bad for your loss (if any, we don't know yet), but it's nonsense to riot and insult them.

Anyway, I'm feeling like there is some kind of social issue going on between old Nostalrius and Elysium staff, which could explain the inactivity of the old Nostalrius staff, and result in a way that Elysium staff can't resolve the issue (maybe a DataBase issue) due to lack of communication or effort from Old nost staff.

Good luck for your account, I have some friends that can't join either because of this which is quite disappointing, but I guess the best thing to do in this case is wait and kindly remind them while waiting.

Hoping the issue is resolved soon and we can all transfer our toons.  My only concern is the cut off date of December 17th  I misunderstood that date to be when we could transfer our toons and not a deadline sadly,

you know, If they'd be communicating with us, I'd be KINDLY REMINDING them, but they built this entire hype around bringing back our old accounts. IMHO it's the only reason why this realm is as populated as it is. Because people thought "Heeey Nost is back baby!". 

But so far they just ignored this issue, didn't put out ANY statement at all and just act like everything is cool. This isn't about getting my account back, this is about the attitude they have towards their own playerbase.

For example: if Molten Core is not going to work, are they going to ignore that issue too ? This seem pretty ваууing shady by my standards.

As for the "issue between Nost and Elysium staff"... I don't care ! Everywhere they promised that they merged and that they have original staff. So either they lied to us, or they are childish retards who can't put aside their differences.  

And for the "huge priority" remark... you must be joking, what kind of flawed logic is that ? People get pissed at me, for not upholding my promises, so I get pissed about them getting pissed and will continue to not uphold my promise ? What the вау ?

And as I said in the other thread, this attitude totally ruined this server for me. I already know that I won't be playing here, because I've never seen anything like this. Everywhere else I've ever played, Devs at least say "SOON" or something like that, so you you know they may not be fixing it right away, but at least they acknowledge that something is going on. Here it's just dead silence and acting like everything is fine.

I have no clue about what I'm going to ask, but weren't there a timeline limit of Account transfer ? An end date where you can't transfer your old Nostalrius account to there anymore

I have been trying to get my account on launch day, no surprise it didn't work. So i thought it was overwhelmed or bugged and  I waited. If what you say is true, then I didn't ever even have chance to redeem my token...

but I don't think that's the case, the token link is still up, it just doesn't do anything

Nah I just verified the info I got and it's wrong. It's just a technical difficulty they're encountering right now and cannot be resolve without Nostalrius team.

but why is it so hard to come here and create on blue post stating
"HEY GUYS IT DOENST FEKIN WORK, WE ARE CURRENTLY RESOLVING IT, BLAME NOST DEVS" ?

Character transfering from old Nostalrius is broken by reason of technical troubles on them side.
We so sorry, but we can do nothing against it so we can just wait like you too... But you can try to ask on them forum.

From these responses it's quite clear that it's not within their control. What is their interest in not solving this problem, if they were able to? They are getting a lot of negative players and publicity, so it's hardly just a means to keep server numbers down.

It's obviously not as 'simple' as just fixing it. Neither does it mean that they lied, when they promised people would get their characters back. Getting the data has always been on Nostalrius' terms, and as such they don't control it as much as people believe.

People disregard the legal problems in this matter. Blizzard obviously still have a firm grab around Nostalrius' balls - otherwise they might as well have remade the server themselves. They must've believed that the character transfer wouldn't cause any legal problems with Blizzard (or choose to disregard them for a short term), but this has clearly changed. All of a sudden Nostalrius has almost evaporated. Does this seem like something Nostalrius would do without a reason? Probably not. 

Our best hope is that whoever is sitting on all that data had a serious problem with the servers, and that he/she is trying to fix it. It seems like a long shot, as something like this would probably have been communicated to people. No, the silence from Nostalrius makes me believe that legal matters are to blame. This would also explain why Elysium is not coming out with a more clear message on the matter; they know Nostalrius is caught up in legal problems, and making it public would only make matters worse for Nostalrius. Being respectful of Nostalrius they avoid addressing the cause of the issue instead.
