Bug tracker suggestion: how bad is the bug

Recommended Posts

Adding anoption for when people create bug reports that lets them select how bad or severe the bugs are. Something like:

Critical: bosses not dropping loot, often used spells/items/ quest broken

High/medium(call it whatuwant): lesser used quest/ items/ quest. Might be hard to separate this one and Critical. Needs a good guideline that ppl wont follow even if their life depended on it..

Low: "the guards are calling me a druid even though im a warrior, wtf fix asap".

holy resist Kappa

Or more steps inbetween or some other names, but you get the point. Moderators should ofcourse be able to change the reported bugs severity after it been submitted if its neceseryy.

I know it could be pontless because ppl often report bugs that affects themselves and that increases the rating of how important they THINk it is..

Sry bad england im on a phone....

Low:

holy resist Kappa

Because it doesn't suit you personally , doesn't mean that this is low.

High are Game Breaking = Bugs that won't allow specific Spec/Class to do his Job and Role.

Examples are the last 2 patches fixed bugs like:

CC threats - Doesn't allow Prot Paladins to tank

Seal of Command and Holy Resistance - Doesn't allow Ret to DPS or Prot to Tank.

Windfury - causes Ench Shamans not being able to DPS.

These bugs are Game Breaking and i am glad that they got fixed, doesn't need to be for "Viable or non Viable" , it is causing something to not work completely.

bosses not dropping loot, often used spells/items/ quest broken

With exceptions of "Often used spells" or "some important Quest for making you get in Raid" , rest mentioned are indeed not critical neither game breaking.
