While we do not have specific play time requirements for general members, participation in our raid group does have strict play requirements. You should be level 35+ right now if you want to have any chance of a spot. Dedicated raiders are already 60 on this server, and gearing in up UBRS. We're moderate in our expectations of members, but I don't think I can describe us as laid back, really. I require people to use voice chat, I require them to attend pvp raids if they're available (and are useful to the level range of the raid), and so on. You're free to play on your own schedule as a non-raiding member of HUR, but it's still rather more involving. I'll go ahead and send you a link to Discord via PM. Ive bin playing WoW since vanilla beta, with a few breaks ofc. Im looking for a guild to level with and when possible to join a raid every once in a while. Cant do mandatory atm since I became a father 10 months ago. Ive read you Code of Conduct and agree to it all. cybaster 31 Report post Posted January 27, 2017 Hello, Adda. Congrats on the kid! I agree that takes priority over voice chat. That said, the requirement is a strict one. I'm drilling people out of the habit of using text chat in our raids entirely, and into effective vocal fast-talk. Voice chat is an integral part of how we organize. I must reject your application until such time as you can meet that requirement. You might give Tuna Helper a try - they are similarly bloodthirsty but don't have strict requirements. In other news, Hurricane is rebranding itself somewhat - apparently, there's a bit of pent up rage on the Alliance side from constant ganking. Who'd have thought. As it is now I use discord almost every night when I game. So if that was the only reason to reject it, please reconsider. Your guild looks amazing and something I would love to be a part of, I am happy with all of the requirements and love the spirit of the guild! Im only a lowlie Human Lock atm but am on the way to building up (I know shadowbolt spam raiding is pretty unexciting but the PvP is what Im looking forward to!) Do you have any min level requirements? Also I am based in Australia so unsure if that's a problem as I sadly get around 350ping at best :( I have played WoW on and off since Vanilla, granted the most I ever played was in Vanilla as part of a guild that raided MC/ony on farm and was progressing through BWL before I had to leave for a job working away from any net connection. Also previously did organised PvP which was so fun! Back then I was a druid who got to become all too familiar with the 'oh you can shapeshift, cool, start healing!' I'm willing to work with anyone with a good attitude, which is the most precious commodity around, these days. I assume you're familiar with our schedule already. Your chilled attitude combined with the determination in both PvE and PvP is exactly what I'm looking for in a guild. I'm only level 1 right now, because I saw you were looking for some locks and created a gnome warlock to apply with. I'll be completely honest, I've never hit cap before but if I have a goal (reaching cap with you guys), I'll have the motivation to do so. cybaster 31 Report post Posted February 6, 2017 While we do technically welcome characters of any level, our events are obviously all geared towards players near the top-end. Town raids, for example, require levels capable of coping with endless guard respawn, at bare minimum. So you'll have to level quickly and mostly solo if you want to appreciate what we have to offer. While I enjoyed healing and was good at it, I have always wanted to play a hunter, so I made one when Elysium came out. I would like to join this guild because, for one, the raid time is perfect for me. I live in CST and while you may be behind me time wise, I am totally free at that time. Secondly, the amount of time you put into this post shows me that you guys really care for the guild and want to get somewhere with it. I know the post says you're not looking for hunters but I would love to join and raid with you guys. Any other info you need from me feel free to let me know. I don't give spots to people who don't PVP with us because the loot will be wasted raid logging. 40 blind, legless corgis can farm MC at this point, so the real accomplishment is all in what you do with your loot.
