How do I change my password for my elysium account?

Have literally been asking in game the same question and of course get absolutely no helpful response besides "Give me your account I will do it for you.."

Looked it up and it appears as though if you go to the main website and on the control panel hit recover password, it will send you an email to reset your password. However, I still haven't gotten that email but we will see, its about the only thing I have to work of right now.

As iamredrumi said, you can do so by using the control panel without being logged in.

An alternative method is to go in-game and type ' .account password oldpass newpass newpass ' with oldpass being your current password and newpass being the one you want to change it to.

Is this command safe to use ? I mean, is there a way for someone to intercept the trafic from your client to the server or access to some kind of logs that contains what you typed through your chat and the commands you have used ?

This may look pretty paranoid but, who knows...

It's safe to use, but it can not currently be used on these realms.  It either has a new syntax, or is not at all available.

Every time I tried to use this command ingame, it wouldn't work.

 

I too had to just use the "password recovery" on the main site to reset.
