Not really, I was banned Dec 28, un-banned later that day then re-banned last night.

My account was not compromised, I didn't buy gold.

Yet it is likely that while you were offline your account was being used to spam gold services because you used the same password for this server as you had for other vanilla servers, and the account information was compromised on that other server, and you failed to protect yourself by using a different account/password combination.

Yesterday I played for 2 hours and got gold-spam from 5 players. All of them were above level 20, with guilds and normal names. I'm afraid all of them were hacked. Here is list

Lazerkitty (43 paladin, in guild), Praff (32 mage, in guild), Jamaljerome (60 warlock, in guild), Rending (25 warrior, in guild), Nattalv (60 druid)

That's pretty sad...

I have nothing to do with gold sellers and got my account banned after I filed a ticket about it being hacked. Still no reply from admins. Feels like a spit in the face.

And gold sellers are totally fine and keep spamming.

btw, on retail, 1-2 years after i stopped playing, my wow account was also closed (banned) because of suspicies activities. it was hacked somehow. so this practice, banning hacked accounts, is very common

Nope, account not compromised, unique username, unique password...people need to stop making excuses for the staff banning wrong people.

Most of ppl who was hacked and banned are confirming that they used same info on other private server or used not strong password.

If Elysium's DB had been compromised, it would be different...

A lot of people who are banned were not hacked at all, if you check help support forum you will see that everyone has the same issue and timing, banned on 28th morning, unbanned later in afternoon, then re-banned today.

I to and being affected and i was so close to 40 and i was hyped all night in my dreams to grind out to 40 :[ ~ and i havent even touched any other vanilla realm. My brother got me into this game so everything i made was 100% unique to the maximum and i still got hit.

Gold buyers banned, but not the gold farmers/spammers, who just sign up for a new account.
