All I know is that the anti-cheat system on this server is far from beeing %!@#, stop QQing when you have no idea how good it is. I suspect my account was compromised (I was banned whilst I was asleep) through the release of user credentials from an unnamed server (as stated in their news on the homepage). There has been a lot of mass bans going on with legitimate players from the old servers who also used the same server during Nostalrius' hiatus. Usually people get away with buying gold and doing the whole AH delivery method because the staff usually dont bother going through AH logs. Except there was that thread in General and one of the GM's came in and posted details of how much they bought and stuff. carminelol 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2017 it is the 8th of january currently, last time i played was the 5th around 11 p.m. Try to log on on the 6th around 8 p.m. and i come to see that i'm banned, with no e-mail, no in-game warnings or anything at all. posted in ban appeal section, they told me my formatting was wrong. posted in general discussion, they told me to post in ban appeal. messaged gm, told me to post in ban appeal. post in ban appeal with "correct formatting", and i get nothing in the past 10 hours. i assume i was banned the night of the 5th or sometime during the 6th. this would make it 24+ i've been banned, and have received no help or assistance on this. never cheated, hacked, or bought gold. this is ridiculous... 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
TheOfficialLion 4 Report post Posted January 10, 2017 I don't know what to think, check your stuff, as stated earlier you might have done something wrong like an insecure addon or something else. All I know is, that these people are volunteering to keep this server running and as far as I am concerned they are doing a pretty good job.
