Report gold sellers

Hi,

I've been whispered like 10 times by these FCKING CANCER GOLD SELLERS in less than an hour... This is getting out of control ! I suggest to make a topic where we can report the name of these guys, so it will be easier for the GMs to investigate. I found out that a lot of these whispers came from characters of accounts that have been hacked (like a lvl 29 twink named Alised, why would a damn gold sellers make a twink ? Or Simmy, Mugain, Skychaser and Snoosnoos who slack in Crossroad whispping everybody). I know it's a very complicated issue but we have to be more efficient or they will invade us and destroy our new world. The point is also to get names of characters that farm the golds so people from the other faction could defend the land, hunt them btches down and whoop their попа while GMs are investigating

Doesn't really work that way, most of these characters have been botted up to necessary level or hacked, I sugest you get the addon SpamThrottle and you add keywords, if those should pop up in your chat they will get automatically ignored, temporarily or permanently.

Also Nostalrius/Elysium doesn't agree that VPNs should be banned so hackers and gold sellers are free to do whatever they want, they can just change IP if they get ip banned + it's impossible to trace them.

 

Not saying you can simply ''ban vpn'' but you'd allow specific nodes by e.g certain guilds with xx-amount of allowed connections and whatnot, might not be that hard to bypass if you're an experienced programmer or have connections to set you up, but it'd give nost/ely staff a significant upper hand and make a GM's work lot more qualitative.

Please report them via in-game tickets so we can handle them. Posting names on the forum is not helpful.
