dastin1 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2017 I have been experiencing this problem with not being able to save any changes in WoW. First of all, my WoW folder doesn't let me untick read-only option. The next thing is that even when I reinstalled WoW into different disc, into Public:/Games (before that it was stored in B://Downloads), still folder can't be unticked for read-only option. I also tried installing WoW from other servers, but it doesn't work as well. I tried deleting WTF folder, it doesn't work. Im desperate now, hoping that you will tell something that could help me.

If the config-files inside the WoW folder are read-only, none of your settings will be saved. Usually this can be solved by right-clicking the folder and unchecking this option (also for all subfolders). Depending on the rights settings of your local maschine, this might require admin rights.
