Solaris 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) Hello, I started a char on Nost PvP (Just lvl 1, to set up addons) and a lvl 4-5 on the PvE server, which I was gonna play untill the new fresh server. However, I havent been able to log in for 4 days now. When I log in, it goes from Connecting to disconnected after some seconds. The first things I did, was of course to go through the troubleshooting, checking the realmlist a million times, copy pasting directly etc. I have changed the config.wtf to include the server, run the game as admin, etc. Nothing works. This morning my friend asked if I could see my char on the Elysium webpage when I log in. I tried to login, through the control panel, and sure enough, the only things I can see is the transfer options from Nost and Elysium servers. Which makes me think this might be part of the problem? I have been using this especially, to look for answers and solutions: https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/29112-molotovs-handy-faq-for-all-some-of-your-various-problems/ Would love to get some help with this, I feel like I have tried everything I can find on the forums and bugtracker, several times. Thanks Edited January 2, 2017 by Solaris
Shiamorah 20 Report post Posted January 2, 2017 I have no experience with this type of error, but I know there are things you can do to isolate the problem. Try creating a new account, and see if that one works. If it works fine, then that means there is something wrong with your account. If it doesn't work, that means there is something wrong with your client. Sorry I couldn't be more help, but I know that is definitely a good first step.
Solaris 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) Hey, thanks for the quick reply. I have actually already tried with another account. I should have mentioned that in my post, it didnt change anything. I have also re-downloaded the game several times. Shiamorah 20 Report post Posted January 2, 2017 Random guess, but the error could possibly be located in your cache, which will stay around even if you re-install the game. Try opening up a command prompt (press start on your pc and type 'cmd'), and then type the command, "ipconfig /flushdns"

Mimma 10 Report post Posted January 2, 2017 Can you try the steps I provided in this thread? https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/29469-disconnected-straight-away/
Solaris 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2017 Hey Mimma, Those are part of the troubleshooting I mentioned, I have already checked, changed and even had the files from a friend to try with, several times. So it would be safe to conclude that is not where the problem lies, unfortunately.
Solaris 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2017 Hey everyone! I have found the problem! I tried the internet connection on my iphone AND using a different USB network card (card 2)(I have two) and IT WORKED! So I went back to my main connection and used card 2 again, and still it worked. So it would seem the problem is actually with the hardware, the first USB network card, and not with the config files or anything. Thanks time and suggestions, much apreaciated.
