Weekly Onyxia / MC PuG (sundays) [A]

Recommended Posts

First PuG done, not bad for 2.5 hours worth in a PuG, the times will only get better!

Jan 8th PuG 1/1 - 4/10!

Jan 15th -HIATUS- due to <hope> bid pug. (not enough 60s to run 2 pugs at same time)

Jan 22nd

at 7:00 PM server time, or 1PM EST time I would like to do an organized Ony / MC pug.

Invites will go out 30-45 minutes prior to intended Start time, and are first come first serve. The only spots i'm likely to save are for geared tanks / dwarf priests / People I know from previous pugs

Current Loot Rules

MS > OS

Roll Reduction: For every Main spec item you win, your next roll receives a -20 to its value. This allows people to still win items after receiving one already, but gives the people who have not won yet, a better chance.

the -20 roll does not apply to Blues, crafting materials, recipes, ony bags, etc. Only MS epic quality items.

Any BoE T1 pieces will be held onto until the end of the raid, As these are usually the least beneficial pieces to people's gear, I imagine you would not want to suffer from roll reduction for recieving one. So all T1 BoE pieces will be rolled for once the raid is over.

Keep in mind, failing to equip a BoE, if you rolled MS on it, so you can sell it, will result in blacklisting from the PUG and being shamed on this post =D

One option for loot I am thinking of is as follows. Once you have gained loot, you will receive a 15 or 25 roll reduction for loot here on after. This way, you can still try to get more pieces, but it just becomes harder and harder (or you need to become luckier and luckier) to get loot if you win multiple pieces.

the roll reduction does not count towards random items (such as greens, bags, recipes, crafting mats, etc), and would not be applied if you are the only person who needed an item.

Assuming sign ups in this thread? If so, Shaucks (Warlock) will very likely go. Have to finish my Ony Attunement, but am passed Jailbreak so shouldn't be too much of an issue. MC attunement is done.

Also slot in Digs (Warrior - DPS/i'll ask if his tank set is MC ready, but I doubt it is). I'll confirm us both by Friday afternoon.

As far as Sign-ups go, It's basically just be on for invites and get a spot. Because what if people who sign up don't show? then im saving spots for nothing.

Would do something along the lines of reserving(giving priority) raid spots for people who came the previous week as long as they claim their spot 15 minutes early so you can replace those who don't show. Will likely get weekly people showing up that way and you'll build a good PUG. First come first serve will result in a random raid every week and will likely lead to shit runs once in awhile.

Well ya, if someone who I know needs a few minutes to get ready, I can do that. But im not going to save spots 24 hours in advance lol.

And people shouldnt really be too worried about it anyway, most PuGs dont fill to 40 in the first 10 minutes anyway. just be on when invites start and you will be fine.

Well normally it works like this...

You want to start raiding around 9:00 but you are online at 8:30.... people from the previous week knows they need to join the raid by 8:45 or you'll start filling in the rest of the spots.

It's quite simple... and your not saving the spots at all unless THEY whisper you and join your group ahead of recruitment. At least people will be able to keep coming back each week and you'll have a stable team for the most part.

To each their own though, good luck.

thanks to everyone and <simplicite> for the first Pug run, it was pretty successful! in roughly 2.5 hours we got onyxia and 4 MC bosses, plenty of epics were had! Please come again next week!

PuG will be on hiatus this week due to <hope> PuG at same time.

I Will reopen the PuG if,

1. Hope does not do another pug next week

2. More people get to 60 to permit 2 pugs to go on at the same time
