stream sniping and endless camping

Is this allowed? I have 4 kids on 60s that found me while i was streaming and are now camping me endlessly since yesterday.
Totally fine, pvp happened on a pvp server and all that jazz I get that. But they stood on my dead body for 3 hours even while i went afk, had a shower, watched a few tv shows and so on.

Now you will say "then dont stream what do you expect?" and trust me I understand that fully. But now today i decided to play off stream in hopes of being able to level, they are still camping me. They simply make another account on my faction with a level 1 and can see where I am at all times. I cant even play the game cause they just permanently camp me.

This cant be ok is it elysium?

Yeah. It's allowed. Camping is not considered greifing. Call in some backup.

It is allowed. As it is stated in the Terms of Use

b ). Streaming / Stream Sniping

Streaming on any service is allowed by Elysium, however, we encourage you to research the TOU of the streaming service you intend to use in order to protect your streaming account.

The act of "stream sniping" is not a violation of this agreement as we cannot intervene if someone in-game makes the decision to communicate their every move, thereby informing other users of their position and/or in-game status.

 

As for camping you can find it as well in the Terms of Use

The Elysium staff recognizes all play styles to be valid and a part of the game and not harassment. Killing players of your opposing faction, including camping players at spirit healers, corpses and/or gravestones, is considered a part of the game.

While playing on a Player vs. Player server, you should always remember to protect yourself in zones where the members of a hostile faction can attack you.

 Welcome to PvP + live streaming it happens why should Elysium take care of the carebear players who cant handle it?

Back in Vanilla we didn't really have live streaming at the extent it is today. As for camping players welcome to PvP realms. Get people to help you out.

I think you are missing the point micro.

Im not a care bear and i also understand the streaming aspect of it like i said in my original post, as ive been streaming pvp games for 3+ years.

The fact that I cant even play the game whether its off stream or streaming is the issue.

Then play on a PvE realm if the camping is too much for you. This is bound to happen at great lengths when there are over 12k players at a time on the PvP realm.

again, your replies are of no actual substance. Just the whole "deal with it" mentality, which you are more than entitled too.

I bet your opinion would change if you were camped multiple days straight to the point of not being able to play.

But hey it is what it is, if thats the way elysium wants to run things then thats the way she goes.

I wouldn't get camped. I had the issue back in vanilla and I learned to deal with it. Once you get to 60 you remembered the names who ganked / camped you then took your sweet revenge. If you where on retail would you have made this post? Probably not. I don't care to sugar coat something like this. It's a PvP realm you are bound to get ganked left and right. It happens on multiple mmo's but there is little to nothing to do against it. Even other private servers don't have rules against it. 

You say you have no choice but to be camped. There are tons of things you could be doing besides doing whatever it is that is causing you to be camped. Level a new toon to reduce the heat on your main? Do some professions? Go farm some gold? The options are endless really. 

Elysium project is catered towards the original vanilla experience. Streaming and stream sniping kind of ruined it a little. But, in the end it's your own fault for bringing the attention to yourself in the first place. 

If you really wanted to you could report them for player harassment. And see where it goes. But, I personally don't think it will do you any good.

Your complaint is on no actual substance. Elysium doesn't "endorse" camping, they just don't enforce rules against it. They are willing to let the community deal with this. Streaming, not streaming, doesnt matter. Get someone to help kill them, log off, or go to the PvE server. Not sure what else you want us to tell you.

You don't like the responses you got because you can't accept it. As for knowing where you are all the time you brought this upon yourself why should Elysium fix a problem you brought upon yourself. Have your guild come take of them. Our responses are not troll responses in the slightest we are telling you the truth of how PvP realms are. Did you ever see Swifty complain about how he was camped for days on the Isle of Timeless? He had a group of 40 people camping him for days. He didn't take to the forums or call blizzard on the phone to complain. He just wrote it off as something that happens. If you can't handle the attention you bring to yourself for streaming on a PvP realm maybe not do it. 

As for being only level 22. If they really are causing you so much problem then start a different character. The choice is yours the Elysium staff won't do anything for you so seek guild members or hire a hit group to camp them. 

You have a few options to chose for yourself what ever you chose all benefits and consequences are yours and yours only. So don't come asking for Elysium staff to step in and handle campers for you. Seek out your community on the general section or even in the pvp section.

You brought it upon yourself because you caused your main character to attract the attention of those who have no problem camping players. They may be ridiculous but what have you mentioned as a solution yet in your post? Haven't really seen anything. You only request a staff member to take their time away from handling tickets, ban appeals and more to answer your post when it clearly states in the Terms of Use they won't do anything. 

Sorry the answers you where given did not meet your criteria and had to result in calling people trying to offer you answers and the facts about Elysiums plugs and kids. Truth is truth and it hurts sometimes. Deal with your issues that you caused yourself. Elysium isn't here to hold your hand.
