Vjach 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 First week all start locations will be clean and without mobs, big online etc. Can any one give me advice: how to start better?
noob257 36 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Level through exploring. Check out the thread on page 1, i can't link it for some reason. There are several video guides and suggestions to improve the route. If you start as a human, you will be able to hit level 5 in ... I think an hour. I need to make a speedrun with my new method Edited January 5, 2017 by noob257
Xom 8 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 If you can, kill every mob in your way. For a while, anything that can give you XP is worth killing. For instance, in Tirisfal Glades killing all the Hounds and Bats between Brill and places you run to do quests is going to help you move onto new places sooner, instead of relying solely on quest XP and the mobs in them. Then if you need to skip a quest because it's over-camped you actually won't be losing time or XP since you have been mercilessly slaughtering even green mobs in your way. The extra gold is nice too, and if you're a skinner it's even better. Actually, always go Skinning until you get your mount, just respec later. You're throwing away heaps of gold you could make just by vendoring the hundreds of pelts from beasts you kill for quests, not counting the AH you can make on Heavy/Thick/Rugged later on.
DM1234 10 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 Don't sleep, play through at least one night. I have a short explore route for level 4 in around 25-30 mins, or a longer one that I'm tempted to take just for the fun of not being in an overcrowded zone for as long as possible :)

taladril 43 Report post Posted January 6, 2017 The only money you will get from skinning on fresh is from vendors. No one is gonna buy leather till later and if they do, for almost nothing.
