This server will stay vanilla right?

This server will stay vanilla right? I heard some talk on chat that they will maybe update it in future to tbc or smth, but I dont like that idea now. So is it just a rumor or what?

They would never change the server. If they were aiming at tbc, it would be an entirely separate server. Just letting you know!

There is an idea to open an option to move to TBC. But there will be an option to remain vanilla  if they do that as well. So people can choose if they wan't to go to BC or stay in Vanilla.

 

But it won't be for at least 2 years if at all. There is no timeline for it, they've only said they are thinking about it.

If they do that Blizzard is officially dead to me. That would be SO awesome.

but keep in mind if they ever roll up a TBC server, and if they do, they want it to be as perfect as Nostalrius aka Elysium is, it will probably take them years since PvP Arena in TBC / flying mounts etc/ is way harder to script blizzlike than vanilla i guess.
