Recommended Posts

Okay well I'm currently laid in bed unable to sleep so I thought I'd make this post so why the he'll not?

Pretty much I made this thread so that you guys can share any adventures/stories that you guys have had throughout the world of warcraft, I made this so that the people who are passionate about wow, the community as a whole can come closer. Literally anything exciting or interesting that you guys have to share about the game we all know and love, feel free!

Running around the beautiful forest of Teldrassil on my first Night Elf character, a hunter. I was so amazed running through the magical forest, being so overwhelmed with things to do. I was just a kid in Vanilla WoW, I'll never forget it.

Took me forever to level my NE priest, Kaysia, back in the day (like 8-10 months). Never did much instances while leveling, and end game was some kind of myth that I had yet to even think about. On the evening where I hit 58, I was invited to ZG with my friend's guild. Aparently they were short on healers that day, and he convinced the others to invite me, inexperienced and low-level though I was.

It was winter at the time and quite cold in my apartment, and the combination of that and being seriously nervous of fucking up somehow just made me shiver - worse and worse as time went on. Remember it like yesterday; shaking for hours on end, too afraid of leaving my desk to get clothes or even something to eat or drink. From that moment I was hooked. Seriously one the the most memorable experiences of my life.

Taking a nap before Molten Core, dreaming of raiding, and waking up with a start when I saw a legendary drop in the dream.  Then realizing I was late to the raid.  As I logged into vent they were doing Baron Geddon.  I told them to wait, they told me I should have arrived on time, they killed him and the other Bindings I needed for Thunderfury dropped.  It was the first raid I was late to.

That experience made me unbelievably punctual.  On the plus side, I was a Fury Warrior, and giving me Thunderfury would have been the single worst loot mistake a raid group could have made.  Our MT picked up the bindings I missed and completed the set a few weeks later.
