Guild History

The <Dankk Budz Collective> is a day one guild that was created on February 28, 2015, on the same day that the Nostalrius server was first released.

We have continuously worked to progress the guild, and over time we created a serious NA raiding guild that is both competitive and enjoyable for our community.

Although we do have a silly guild name, we do take this game serious, and work hard to provide dedicated and professional leadership both in and outside of raids.

Some of our most notable accomplishments include:

1) First NA Horde Guild to Clear Blackwing Lair on Nostalrius

2) Two Separate Raid Groups that could both clear Blackwing Lair every week

3) Only guild sponsored by Subway Sandwich Restaurant. 

4) We got the official [Anathema] Server First BWL Clear (Technically correct is the best type of correct)

5) 9/9 AQ40 (C'thun Down Without Songflower, Onyxia, or Dire Maul Buffs)

6) 61 Minute C'thun on Raidstats!!


We are very much interested in recruiting new players who are dedicated to raiding at a competitive level with a like-minded group.

Raid Times

Saturdays - Invites at 6:30PM PST (3:30 Server Time) - 4 Hour Raid

Sundays - Invites at 4:30PM PST (1:30 Server Time) - 4 Hour Raid

In order to raid with us, it is necessary that you are able to regularly attend both of these weekly raids and stay for the full duration. 


Loot System

We use a DKP System to distribute loot in raids. In order to still maximize the benefit of loot, we have certain well thought out class priorities that apply for specific items that are much better used in the hands of certain classes over others. 


Expectations

In order to maintain a strong raiding roster, it is important for us to maintain a high standard of quality among the people that we choose to bring to our raids. Out of respect for our many members who put in countless hours to mix / max their gear and consumables for maximum DPS and Healing Efficiency, we do require a certain level of dedication to this game.

Therefore, the following is expected from people interested in raiding with our guild:

1) Pre-Raid BIS Gear or better. If you could upgrade your gear by running dungeons or completing quests outside of raids, we expect that you will take the time to accomplish this.

2) Fully enchanting your items. This is an easy task that yields a great benefit to your raid performance. A character with fully enchanted gear is presumed to be interested in maximizing their potential.

3) Downloading of required addons. We have a list of addons that are required in our raids. You must either be willing to run these required addons, or provide a satisfactory reason for why they will not be necessary for you.

4) The use of World Buffs. Players who take the time to get Dire Maul Buffs give themselves a very big boost to their stats prior to starting a raid. Although the effect of a single person using these buffs is not always noticeable, when an entire 40 man raid applies these buffs prior to raiding, it results in a very significant boost to the raid's overall performance. 

5) Consumables. Every class has a list of consumables that can be used to boost their stats significantly. We expect that in Blackwing Lair, everyone will use the appropriate consumables for their class and the encounter, in order to maximize their performance and reduce deaths. When the entire raid uses consumables, everything goes smoother and raids finish earlier. This often requires taking additional time outside of raids in order to farm for these consumables, however this is a critical part of high end raiding in Vanilla WoW.

6) Ability to Learn Boss Mechanics and strategies and execute them during raids. We do our best to explain mechanics for bosses and trash packs on the spot, but this is simply not enough. Anyone interested in raiding should take it upon themselves to study the encounters in any given raid, and come into it with an idea of what the basic strategy and mechanics involve. These resources are easy to find on both Youtube and various warcraft Wikis. We are happy to provide links on where to gain a better understanding of any given dungeon. 

7) Taking the time to do independent research on your class in order to master it. Almost every class in world of warcraft is more complicated than they may initially appear. Over the years, much theorycrafting and analyzing of every class has occurred. There are many online resources that explain the most efficient ways to play every class. We hope that you will take time to research this.
