Is there a way to block incoming mail from annoying gold spammers?

Some kind of addon like spamthrottle handles chat would be nice

but what if your ignore list is full?

1: I did say it wasn't a solution and that it might help a little.

 

2: My bet is there are few on your ignore list that can be removed.

 

Always reasons for something to not work. I prefer to look at what will.  Then move forward from there.

Last night i got 8 within 30 minutes, haven't gotten any today (yet)

This is a growing problem.

I get 2-4 mails an hour, from these gold sellers.   I suppose it isn't a "big" problem yet, as it takes a little more work, to spam through mail, than through whispers.   But until they automate their mailing - I suppose we can feel "safe".

Does anyone know if you ignore someone, if they can still sent you mails?

- For the record, SpamThrottle has an endless ignore list.   So if you need more room, just give this addon a try.   And if you think the gold spamming has stopped, I can tell you that I played for 3 hours last night, and recieved 309 blocked messages during these hours.   Gold spamming is still very much a thing.

Get a mail addon. Things like CT_MailMod and such will automatically delete mails that are just text and no attachments.

 

I'd much rather get mails instead of whispers/guild invites.
