Proof of kill and tag

The whole party looted him and got the quest item except for me. I'd like to request that a GM adds it to me manually, he's hard as hell to tag and has a 30m respawn.

To be honest in the time they review this you could've killed him 20 times with different groups.

 

You have to hit the NPC to be able to loot.

Pet hit him. It bugged out due to the pet's name not being loaded, registering as Unknown. But it's a bug and I should get the quest item.

 

 

And no, he has 30m respawn and you'll compete with 15 other people to tag him. It's not easy at all. That's a lot of time.

I believe when your pet hits a mob but you don't, you don't get a tag.

Yes, you do. I've tagged countless mobs with my pet. 


The issue here was that my pet's name was not loaded. It isn't Unknown. That's why I didn't get loot, because the game thought I did not do damage to the mob. But I did. It's a bug. And I should get the quest item.

Have you killed mobs and looted them with your pet tagging them and you NOT hitting them at all?

Yes, just tried it. If you do not deal damage and let the pet damage you still get loot.

This was a bug. My pet wasn't fully loaded, the server was tricked into thinking the Pet wasn't Mine. -I- did no damage, the pet did, so the server said I didn't deserve loot, when in reality my pet did damage to the mob ( it just didn't register as the pet being mine ).

So basically this was a bug caused by lag and I should get the item.
