Worth keeping on this server?

So, I've almost gotten to level 20 (Horde Mage) and I had some concerns with keeping on THIS particular server.

1. Are people still doing MC? I know AQ is coming out soon-ish but, don't I really need the gear from MC/BWL to go do AQ? I've heard something about a bloodvine set I can get that's really good at max level, too, but I really wanna do the original raids. I'm still new to Vanilla so this is my first toon I intend to fully level and, hopefully, raid with. I've been on other private servers and found that the problem becomes that so many people have done the base content that if you join late, you're not going to find groups for that stuff. So, if the scene for doing Molten Core and BWL is dead, I don't see a point on staying.

2. It's a PVP server and I get that, but are people still doing PvE content? Like I said above, I'd like to raid rather than PvP.

You might have posted on the wrong subforum, Elysium launched just a week ago, so no raids going on here yet.

But anyway, no matter on which server you started, there will be plenty of raids going on once you reach 60. That's one thing you definitely do not have to worry about. With several thousand players online at all times, there are always guilds who still progress through "old" content or further advanced guilds who want to gear their alts.

I think you posted in the wrong forum. If that is your main concern, I recommend re-rolling on Elysium-PVP because it is only a week old and every one is doing the content you are looking for.

That's what i meant when i said they should have just named it Elysium 2 ...

 

Zeth'Kur has the same timeline as Elysium, it was released only one week after Elysium because of the great demand.
