is using bop on other plays in bg's to cancel herb legit?

ive been using bop a few times in attempt to cancel other plays herbing cast if they dont click it off before they finish the herb cast. ive only done it on mages with mind quickening gem which lets them herb 33% faster. every time a mage gets it and im not complaining but i try and use something in my arsnal to also get it. but everytime they say they are going to report me. even though its not even worked for me

so GMs what do you say? is this fair to use? this is in AV

I don't see why it should not be allowed. It's a simple use of game mechanics. MQG working on herbing was considered legit. Might as well allow Bop since it's just making lotus rush in AV fair game.

For instance it was allowed to MC cap / MC an opposite faction player carrying a flag in WSG and BoP him in order to make him drop it. Considered legit usage of game mechanics. 

Have you tried issuing a ticket in game ? You'd probably get a GM answer faster.
