Getting Disconected and error #132

Recommended Posts

So i don't play vanilla wow since almost a month cause of the following issues: Everytime i log in on my character or 5 minutes after logging in on my character, wow goes down and it happears an error called error #132 and it starts by saying "This aplication as found a critical error:" and then it says so much numbers and letters mix together and in the end it says "The memory could not be read. Press OK to terminate the aplication". I don't know how to fix this cause on yt they just say the answer to original wow and not to vanilla. Another issue that happens now is that everytime i log in to my character i get disconected to the tip in account and pass. Please tell me what's going on so i can play elysium again ...

Reinstall from one of the links on the main Elysium page (once it is back up) and see if that helps. If not, check your RAM because you may have hardware issues.

Did you tried to reinstall wow client?

Lol, you don't install the game in the tradition sense; this version has absolutely nothing to do with Battle.net.

For some reason I can't remember if the torrent was compressed or not, but if it is just get a program like 7-Zip and "Extract Here" option. Cut the folder from the Downloads folder and put it anywhere you like; Create a shortcut for WOW.EXE to put on your desktop, and make sure you have change the contents of the file REALMLIST.WTF to the following: set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org

Make sure you stay tuned to Elysium Twitter page to get the latest updates as they are posted.

Send me a PM via the forum if you still need help.

By "reinstall" I meant "delete WoW folder and download or unpack again". Isn't that obvious?

It's not so obvious for the individual that is not as tech savvy and at the level of understanding computers like you and I obviously are. Using the word "Install" is not the correct term.

To the person unknowing, telling them to "install" would make them think that they have to run the launcher in the folder. This is wrong.

Are you using the VanillaGuide addon? If so, disable it and check if that solves the problem

Reinstalling the client is not likely to solve the issue as it's most likely computer related.  Error #132 is a catch-all for all kinds of problems, but it's often related to video drivers, I see Nvidia involved in this more often than not.

Update your video drivers.

Go into your System settings, on the left column click on Advanced. Once in this new tab, look for "Graphics API" and set it to DirectX 9.  If you don't have that option:

Try Pottu's recommendation for DirectX mentioned here:https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/23618-beginners-guide-—-check-here-before-posting/#comment-247850

still not good?  Right click on wow.exe and make sure you're set as administrator.

Right click on wow.exe. Select> troubleshoot compatibility. Select> try recommended settings. Select> start the Program.
