Party frames for healing?

I use LunaUnitFrames, but I'm not particularly fond of the party frames. Are there any others out there?

 

I know about Grid, but it's a little too simplified for my tastes. I love VuhDo, but I'm not sure that there's a version of that for 1.12.

yeah vuhdo is my go to healing frame mod also :( unfort I don't think they created it for vanilla.  I've just been using the Luna frames but do get a bit frustrated because for the life of me I can't figure out how to just do a simple command for left click target AND a heal.  Vuhdo does automatic targeting if you click anything on a frame but I do understand this is a vanilla mod.

If anyone knows of a command for the target , healing spell etc I would love it if you could post it.

As for the party frames, my son has been using xperl.  I use xperl in live wow but I don't like how they don't show the actual class colors in the vanilla version.  However if i"m not mistaken I think you can use the xperl raid frames if you want along with clique addon.

I've seen a few people posting similar questions in multiple threads, but no answers.  I am also a healer "main" and used to use Xperl in Vanilla back in the day.  It started giving me trouble (it's a very "heavy" AddOn), so I started looking for alternatives.  I ended up with Grid for most of my characters + Shadowed Unit Frames...and then I discovered Vuhdo.  Vuhdo was amazing and did everything I needed and more once it was set up.  It was great for tracking HoTs and also allowed me to easily set up on-click healing (left-click for rejuv, right-click for Healing Touch, and track them with different coloured dots in different positions on their frame), easily re-cast buffs from their own separate frame, easily track debuffs.

From what I can tell, Luna Unit Frames is the current go-to for unit frames, and it can also be set up to help with healing.  How, I am not sure, as I haven't yet installed it and tried to dive in.  I recall Grid + Clique + Decursive perhaps being the go-to raiding healer AddOns in Vanilla, as well as the controversial Healbot AddOn which in Vanilla actually WAS automatic (until that was "fixed" in TBC).

Just as a bit of a background, I am older and have a hard time with memory as well as speedy usage of mouse and keyboard.  Having AddOns that help (NO I do not want Healbot to do it for me) with healing are pretty much a requirement for me to be effective.  I guess I'll try Luna Unit Frames and see what happens.

Luna is great, stable and customizable. The only alternative, as I see it, is grid+clique. sRaidframes improved is a great alternative for raid but no party option. 

I don't really see how you can go wrong with Luna.

Set up Luna Unit Frames and tried it out for a bit.  I like it.  I wish there was a bit more customization for some parts, but the on-click healing works as expected.  I think it's a keeper.
