donkeyganked 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2017 I play from the states and have a lag of generally 150-200ms. As the name implies I love to pvp but am finding it very hard to do so. Is there any hope? I can get a vpn, is there a suggestion of a country to chain into?
painejake 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2017 A VPN will make it worse dude as its another location any traffic will have to go before it gets to the server. Not really sure what you can do to actually make a difference :(
Maez 4 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 I'm not home right now, so I can't tell you my current latency, but I don't think it's that much. You can try downloading the current version of Leatrix Latency Fix. From an old post explaining the addon: Quote What does it do? Leatrix Latency Fix will reduce your World of Warcraft latency significantly by increasing the frequency of TCP acknowledgements sent to the game server. For the technically minded, this is a script which will modify TCPAckFrequency. You will also see reduced latency in other online games such as Aion, Warhammer and Lord of the Rings. The average reduction in latency (based on feedback from comments) is 66%. Click the Change Log tab above to see a summary of player feedback. I always download this when I do a clean install of Windows.
