Garun 9 Report post Posted January 23, 2017 I'm considering playing on this server and I'm wondering what class is in the most demand for raids. I had a prot warrior that I MTd with in a guild that started raiding the week before the shutdown. I also can't seem to find the token for it so I think I have to reroll. I might as well get an easy raid spot if I'm going to reroll.
gotmilk0112 10 Report post Posted January 23, 2017 All classes are in demand. There is no class that is more "in demand" than others.

Good prot wars even rarer. but technically everything is needed Problem is that only 2-3 prot warriors are needed per raid, so getting that raid spot can be tough. For 5mans, yeah, tanks are always in demand. For raids, not so much.

My only reliable option was to join a guild that was about to raid MC and even then there was no guarantee that guild would get anywhere. Worldstar 36 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 Look at the least represented classes. Now remove druids from that list of classes. The remaining least represented classes are in demand.
Geston 15 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 On Anathema its easily Druids. Its not uncommon to have only 2 in an entire 40 man raid. Hell iv seen pug MCs with no druids.
Icoppelia 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 Play whatever class you enjoy playing. If you put the effort in and become better than the majority of others of the same class, you will get a raid spot.
migros 1 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) If it's anything like it was back in 2005-2006, then it's probably going to be something like this: 1. Druid (esp. Horde) 2. Warlock (esp. Alliance) 3. Priest 4. Shaman/Paladin 5. Mage/Rogue 6. Warrior/Hunter Ordered from easiest to hardest to find a raid spot. But you can find a raid spot with any class if you are a good, active and social player. Edited January 24, 2017 by migros
InfiniteEly2 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 I said it before and Ill say it again: never ever *ever* choose a class that is in so called "demand". You'll just end up getting bored or hate it later because you liked that other class more. Choose gamplay before anything else. Thank me later.

It's probably more like nost with healers/casters getting it easy while melee/tanks have to actually work for it if I had to guess, but I'm just making sure that it's true here as well.
