humbug 1 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 A guy (nordo) listed 2x Forest Leather Bracers for 20g each. THinking they were 20s each, I bought them both and now I am unfortunately short of 40g..... MY eyesight is bad so i couldnt Differentiate the price and wouldnt think a low level item would be 20g. Can a GM return the items I bought to the seller, and Return my 40g? The items I bought are still in the Mailbox....any help is appreciate !! Char name: Well Realm: elysium pvp Thanks a lot
Orocnogu 8 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 I am willing to bet 40 gold pieces the thing that you ask will not happen for a number of reasons. 1. GMs don't reimburse nor return your in-game posessions if you were the one to blame for losing them (some exceptions apply, see Rules). 2. You were not scammed for your gold, you bought an item from AH fair and square, and freedom of setting the price on a lot, however ridiculous it can be, is the core of in-game economics. If your eyesight restricts you from seeing the prices clearly, use another screen resolution so the numbers are bigger.
Church420 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 Highly doubt this. You can clearly see what your spending IE in ordeer 1g 1s 1c You weren't able to differentiate where the number was? Or the Color? When in fact, your probably sitting about a foot away from our computer screen.
humbug 1 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 yeah but those bracers go for like 40 silver >< i just want my gold back, its the principle

Church420 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) Yeah, im 99% sure this wont happen. No refunds/ no returns i say on something like this. You should be more careful in the future. Eyesight is not an issue like he said above ( change your reso) if you cant see what the difference is between 20g or 20s how do you even click on your abilities ? Or see the name of something in your bag? Or read quests? ETC Edited January 28, 2017 by Church420
humbug 1 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) well i just want a refund, the sale was shady....maybe GM can intervene or comprimise. Or maybe i woull double-time farm to make up for it Edited January 28, 2017 by humbug
Church420 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) Not shady at all... This is a common thing on World of Warcraft's Auction House, same thing in real life. Do you check the prices before you buy something? Do you compare to see whats cheaper? Normally a person will look over an item a few times, looking at stats, comparing, ETC before randomly clicking to buy an item. You should have seen it in my opinion.. Good luck tho **If your tricked that easily your gonna have a hell of a time playing LOL Edited January 28, 2017 by Church420

Orocnogu 8 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 Aww maybe you should go to some group or something, like "People Who Can't Tell Silver From Gold Anonymous". Только что, humbug сказал: how about this: everyone whisper Nordo and tell him to send my 40g back?? if even some of it, and i will tip u guys that would be inciting an illegal behavior (spamming a person).

Solution9 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) Do you seriously come to the help and support forum because you messed up an auction? I mean come on man. What on earth do you expect will happen making this thread. Refund, really? It's not a bug, not a scam, not a glitch, not a nothing. You bought something and that's it. Lol if all people making stupid mistakes would make a thread about it and expect a rollback... lol. Edited January 28, 2017 by Solution9

Orocnogu 8 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 Listen, dude. We all honestly and sincerely feel for ya, but that's just it. I 'member back in retail vanilla I used to sell Green FIreworks as Living Essences and quite a lot of people fell for it (and were angry). That would be a scam. Putting an item at AH for an unreasonable price is not. 40g is a decent amount of money, but that guy got lucky and you got unlucky - that's the principle here, not "oh I made a brainfart and now please give me moneyback". Chin up, do some quests, you'll get back on your feet in no time. And while the GMs aren't looking, maybe do some RP begging with your sob story somewhere near the AH, people love a good story here and they'll probably give you a gold or two. Just not at the forum.
Shiamorah 20 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 If rules were broken, then something could be done about it. The person holding the auction was not playing a trick on anyone, they just set their price to be 20g. You bought it, fair trade. Sorry, but you are just going to have to learn from your mistakes here, because this is no one's fault besides yours.
