Players while moving strange began to twitch

Recommended Posts

After patch 1 February other players while moving strange began to twitch (as if interpolation was missing). I have one? Prior to that, all was smoothly. Ping is stable.

This isn't due to a bad connection. I'm pretty sure these people are botting or have paid for levelling services. The first time I saw this was in Durotar at low-level. I saw many mages with names such as "Sshbjs" or "Hkifik" that would move around exactly like that; approach a mob, kill it, drink/eat, then repeat.

I've then seen it now and again in higher level zones but these characters weren't blatant gold-spammers; these were proper characters, with proper names and in guilds so it's clear that they're using bots to level.

I see this happening all the time with people even in my parties for dungeons. People using bots or leveling services are not doing dungeons and talking freely. It is a syncing issue with your game, their game, and the server. It is no different that if you had seen that character walk into a tree and then the next second appear to the left of a tree still running forward.

You have much better ping that I do on this server (video looks like you have ~84ms, I run about 140-150ms) so its possible that the player you're following has a much higher ping than you.

so you saw people leveling? That's usually how you go about leveling in this game, you approach a mob, kill it, then you eat/drink if necessary, and then repeat. I can only assume you're attempting to troll here, but the rest of the paragraph makes me assume you're not.

ps I saw the same thing with the names, most like spammer accounts just getting to a high enough level to whisper.

Y'know, if you purposely go out of your way to not understand something someone says; or purposely take it out of context, you don't make them look stupid. Only yourself.

Have a good day, buddy, I'm sure you're going to go real far. :-)

Honestly dude what you said is fucking retarded. Were they bots in your case? Maybe, but they were bots with a terrible internet connection. Were those high level players botting? Maybe, but they have terrible internet connections.

So you call me a retard, and then go on to not disagree with me?

Takes one to know one, buddy. Have a great day now. :-)

I said you're a fucking retard for thinking suspicious behavior is killing mobs and drinking afterwards and doing it again.
