Eggsmack 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2017 By listing the name of the server company you are renting from on your website you also invite for DDOS-attacks. The attacks will go on until you swap server or until the people who DDOS gets tired, which probably won't happen anytime soon. My suggestion is that you remove the name of your server from your website and then change server so everyone can play this game without lag and disconnects.

Cogfather 25 Report post Posted February 7, 2017 Thank you for your concern. Our IP and server host is widely known, and can be easily pinpointed by anyone by simply using a command in your cmd prompt. We're working directly with our hosting company to mitigate these attacks, and bring service back up to it's full potential as soon as possible. If you have any further questions, please direct your attention to our official post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ElysiumProject/comments/5smbjt/regarding_recent_ddos_attacks/ Thanks! :)

As someone else already said here, the people who DDoS will also be proficient enough to use simple CMD commands, dig, nslookup, whois etc.
