gotmilk0112 10 Report post Posted February 9, 2017 The tooltip says "Physical attack" but Lupos' regular attacks are Shadow damage. Does Furious Howl affect Lupos' regular attacks? Even if it doesn't, is it still worth going and getting this skill, while leveling?
gotmilk0112 10 Report post Posted February 9, 2017 Went ahead and tested it myself. Yes, it appears that Furious Howl does affect Lupos' shadow damage melee hits.
Pwnjin 1 Report post Posted February 10, 2017 In my experience (darrowshire) Lupos gets twice the howl dmg bonus for some reason. He does ~270 instead of regular ~170 dmg when the howl is up. Also, with howl up he crits for ~550 instead of ~350 w/o howl. I have a feeling that howl isn't working correctly. I hope i finally have time on saturday to make a thread here with decent data on Lupos dmg.
gotmilk0112 10 Report post Posted February 10, 2017 (edited) Hm, might be. My Lupos is level 29 and has Furious Howl 2, which says "18-22" on the tooltip, but when he uses it, his damage range goes from the normal "52-67" all the way up to "81-96". That's +29 to low and top end damage, which is a good deal more than what the tooltip states. His normal attacks are hitting for about 65-80, and Furious Howl buffed attacks are hitting for around 110. So it is indeed giving about +30 damage, even though the tooltip says 18-22.
