denzelww 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) Dear GM's ! I want to report a bug with the rank update that was taken place 2 weeks ago. The Wednesday 1st of February i received the updated rank to 11 and bought my mount achieved at rank 11 ( commander). A couple of minutes later the server crashed and server went down. I had to go to work at that time and came back with a temporary banned account ( due to being in same game with a group that was (que dodging). 1 week later i came back to my account on Wednesday 8th when my account got locked up at 15:30 and realized that my highest rank had re-rolled back to 10 and my current rank was 10 (65 % ~), also mount was gone. I understand that my current rank should be 10 since i was banned for 1 week and the decay is approximately 10 % loss of total Rank points, but my highest rank should still be rank 11, and i should be able to get the mount. I've talked with multiple people that got temporary ban due to the same reason and they did not loose their highest rank, nor did they loose the items they bought before the ban took place. I know only one person that got the same issue as me, and that is Dixxy ( druid). I assume this happened because i didn't manage to log on the server after the crash and it got rolled back without any update on the current highest rank. I really hope that you can fix this error and change back my highest rank to 11 since that's what supposed to be fair. Muldreg 3 Report post Posted February 11, 2017 iirc you had to buy the gear while you were that rank, if you decayed, you lost your chance at it until you obtain that rank again. I only think this was true, because I know of a paladin that got R14, then when they updated the gear and added new weapons, he did the grind again, back to R14, to buy the new weapons. There were many others who got punished by the same temp ban, but did not get their highest rank or gear backrolled. Current rank and highest rank is not the same. Once you have achieved highest rank, you can always go buy the stuffs that require that rank. It should be the same for everyone to be honest. This was just a bug with the server crash that they easily can fix, but probably wont because they don't give a shit. Still, 100 hours of my life just got wasted and i kind of think that it's unfair to punish a few by technical error. The only thing I did not mention was the fact that it appears there was a rollback after your initial purchase, which means as far as the server knew, you never made the purchase. IIRC from vanilla, unless you are currently Rank 11, you cannot purchase the Rank 11 mounts. denzelww 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2017 You dont seem to know what you're talking about. You do not have to get the rank again to purchase items. Once you have reached a rank you can buy everything that is included in that rank. I did also state that the other people that did get highest rank and got decayed back to -1 rank could still buy their stuffs since they still kept their highest rank. I have proof of this since i've talked with so many that got affected by the temporary ban. At the moment its me and Dixxy that happened to get unlucky with this bug, while the rest made it. Again, ex rankers that was 14 but decayed back to rank 6 etc, can still buy their GM weapons if they want to. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
