Bit confused regarding leveling with Pet and which to use.

Hi all,

I'm level 20 so I use a cat as I heard it does the best DPS but when it comes to the abilities I'm a bit confused. Should I be making sure it uses as many abilities as possible like growl..poison..cower..claw or when fighting I should just have only 1 or 2 abilities turned on? Should I be spending my time trying to find boars and other animals with certain abilities like stun so I can do the trick to teach it to my cat etc?

If you're leveling with a cat, you mainly want claw on alongside growl. I'd highly recommend getting and teaching dash and prowl to your cat when you can but leaving them off, so you can choose when you want it to chase something down or be stealthy. As for the rest of your question, pets can only learn abilities relevant to their type... so no teaching a Cat charge although that would certainly be OP :D

Thank you very much for your quick help. I see my cat can learn poison?! I figure it's also good to turn this on no? Get another DoT on the mob. Dash and Prowl?

Oh sorry got confused as it was in the list of skills but not learnable when you try to learn it.
