Why are GM's treating Horde/Alliance differently?

Recommended Posts

So while farming a decent amount of honor over the past couple of weeks I have seen my good share of bug abusers and environment abusers. WSG weekend has been by far the biggest display of this. In particular flag carriers are using many portions of the environment that were never intended to be used in such ways. For instance... Many Alliance flag carriers enjoy running up the Alliance graveyard wall and jumping over the vine wall above tunnel. On the flipside, many horde flag carriers have been running up the far east wall by Horde portal.

Watching flag carriers running up these walls and jumping these walls is for obvious reasons irritating. However... The more irritating part is the way GM's have been handling these situations. Within 5 minutes of our (Horde) flag carrier abusing the far east wall in WSG; he was banned. Sent to GM island instantly for 70+ hours. On the flipside... I put in a ticket about multiple flag carriers (Alliance)... But many received no penalty at all for abusing these portions of the map.

Why are some players not getting banned for doing the same thing a player that got banned did?

It seems pretty obvious the GM's favor the Alliance.. I mean lets be real... The server first Rag kill was a fluke. The GM's didn't even care that the raiders abused the hell out of Rag's broken fireball script. Now they aren't handing out bans equivalently between horde and alliance.

Maybe I'm just crazy, but what's going on GMs?

Your horde FC wasn't banned for using that jump.

Its not banable, both sides can use the jumps as they please.

They're tactical and part of the game/map design.

Both horde and alliance have GY jumps. It's not against the rules to use either one. Both alliance and horde can jump through the alliance fence, as long as you're not a fat cow or part of the patriarchy.

So , the ban reason of the Horde player was terrain expoiting? if so i agree on the uneven measurements... If that's the case then we should be worried.
