Lupos basic attack is not melee?

Last few days was reading and trying to find it is Lupos atacks are melee. It seems Lupos atack are not spells or melee attack. Tho Shadow resistant lower his damage but its not spell tho. So what exactly it is?

Lupos deals shadow damage for his normal attacks. (not abilities, just normal melee)

And cant be blocked parried or dodged?

It can be dodge/blocked/parried/miss. Please read the appropriate thread where this is already answered instead of making a new one.

It's a regular melee attack. It just deals shadow damage instead of physical.

 

Elementals do this as well. Fire elementals deal fire damage with their melee attacks. Air elementals deal Nature damage as their melee attack.
