Orangeshit 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2017 I don't see the purpose unless its just for laughs, are there any other reasons behind why people would do this?
mbee 4 Report post Posted March 1, 2017 - Another private server wanting to drive users away from one server, so they go to the other server (which is for-profit) - A player who feels they got screwed by the GMs, so they are trying to get some payback. - Goldsellers who aren't able to conduct their goldselling operations the way they would like, so they continue to harass until they get their way (I think this is what happened to Kronos) This is the internet, everyone is anonymous & some people turn into sh!theads when there are no repercussions. The fact that private servers are somewhat shady in the first place (they are forced to be in order to stay away from Blizzard) means that sh!tty people will do sh!tty things and will get away with it, because nobody wants to get the authorities involved and shed light on something that's already questionable.
gotmilk0112 10 Report post Posted March 1, 2017 Some men just want to watch the world burn. Or yeah, other private servers DDoS'ing in hopes of making players leave the server and join theirs.

Lauren 2 Report post Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) it's the kids that played on K2 and are all depressed that they sank the past year of their life into that server playing all day every day, and everyone jumped ship the instant another server became available. I know some of these kids and they consider themselves "kings" of K2 and have ties with the GM's, so they refuse to play anywhere else and would rather do everything in their power to draw people back to their little realm where they have thousands upon thousands of gold and "stars" saved up. Long story short if this downtime is bothering you make sure you stay far away from anything associated with Twinstar.
