Choosing a class

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I've been thinking of starting again (this time on another server) and I don't know what class I should choose.

I have a high level warlock on Anathema, so I'm not that keen on rolling another one. However, I have no idea which classes are really viable, I've looked around and seen that prot warrs are basically the only tank, classes with heal specs healed etc. The thing is, I'm kinda interested in playing a feral druid, a tank that is. Arms warr as DPS is something I've thought about as well!

All the answers I saw were in the "back in the day it was like this and that"-category, is it same now, or has the rules changed a little bit?

Thanks in advance!

Maybe do two accounts, e.g. play warrior tank on one and dps on other? Considering different gear and respecc costs you're saving a lot of time (cos time is money, money is time). Mind only dual logging restrictions here.

- Arms warrior can dish out some pretty decent DPS but it wont really compete in a serious raiding enviroment. Also, MS-debuff will take up a debuff slot on boss so most serious raiding guilds will probably not want to bring you.

- Beartank perform really good in 5mans and moderately well in raids (assuming you have the gear for it). Many guilds wont bring you though because of "reasons".

- Prot warrior is indeed your best bet. You will find groups instantly. Gear will rain ontop of your head and people will suck your dick just to be your friend:D

I'm biased though since im prot.
