Fishing is fun and not having fishing pools is a pain in the ass. This is like if the GMs decided to remove some PVP battlegrounds or cross-city AH because it wasn't in the game until a certain patch. Some of these changes would have obviously been in the game at 1.0 if the original Blizz devs had time to fit it in the release schedule. On the other hand, in the case of pvp gear, progression, and dungeons, it makes sense to delay and release in intervals.
