pfUI is complete overhaul of your interface, not just unit frames.

Luna is UNIT FRAMES addon.

 

Both are amazing in what they do.

I tried pfUI and I don't like some of the stuff it does and how it changes my UI.

I use Luna Unit Frames from it's date of release to this day. Amazing addon and imo best unit frames addon for vanilla ever made.

You can disable every single module that pfUI changes. So this shouldn't be an issue.

Although LUF definitely has far more customization options for the unitframes than pfUI has (for now). But as said you can just disable the pfUI unitframes and use LUF instead if u want to (or any other unitframe addon)

with discord action bars, luna unit frames, shagu plates and couple of other addons I dont feel the need for pfUI. 

Looks like a bloody Win10 :)

Barely any unitframes customization at the moment. He's working on it though, but as said you can just disable them and use some other ones.

I'd highly recommend Shagu Plates for nameplates...

I mean yeah if you don't like the elvUI/clean looking UI then pfUI isn't for you. Although not everyone is interested in having 100 different addons to be able to make it look clean when you can just use pfUI and maybe replace some of it's features with your favorite addons. :p

They're the same used in pfUI although ShaguPlates aren't getting updated anymore while the ones in pfUI does

If Shagu Plates isn't updated, when it comes to trouble me I'll get pfUI and disable everything cept nameplates lol

1. I mean... that's 100% personal opinion though, but another bad thing about having a lot of addons is it increases your loading times and risks of getting addon conflicts but yeah it's definitely not needed to have pfUI to make a great looking UI

Isn't it bloody awesome to have more addons for damn 12 years old game then to, let say... MoP :D ???? 

I have 3 packs with over 600 addons in each and yet I manage to find more and more addons I don't have... like... WTF ?! O.o

The animation speed feature is to change the "Smooth health/mana bar animation" iirc - whenever u take damage/use mana rather than going instantly down it'll have a nice smooth animation for it.

This feature had me confused once before as well were i thought it was for the portrait animation too :p
