Wife can't log in

I'm writing on behalf of my wife, who is frustrated and ready to quit. I have an active account that came from Nost. I can log in on either of our computers. She cannot log in on either of our computers. She followed the directions:

1 Create account at Elysium-Project

2 Verify Email

3 Download Client/ Set up realmlist (I can log my account in properly)

She gets told she is entering incorrect username/password. If she tries logging in on my computer, same problem.

I'm posting this on her account so we can see that she is logged into Elysium.

Can she log into the control panel?

I found the Control Panel on the opening screen at Elysium (that you only see if you're not logged in)
I clicked it and it rejected her name and PW.

So, I went back to her verification Email and clicked the link so i could log back in and reply to it as I am now doing.

 

Not sure what it means. I can log in following the email verification link, but not by using the control panel.

Found the control panel finally.

I tried resetting her password and was successful. She got a confirmation email. I went back to Control Panel and tried the new password. No good. I tried the old password and got booted for "too many attempts." So, i went back to her verification email, clicked the link, and instantly popped back to where i am now; logged in and writing this update. So weird I can be logged in, typing this, and yet not have any of her login/pw work anywhere. I'm stumped.

For the ingame issue, i can't give advice.

Forum account and ingame account are separate. You can use similar names, of course, which is very bad decision, but the passwords can be different. Thus "incorrect username/password'.

The error message says everything. It's not a client issue.

Solution Found:

It was Firefox, or a setting within Firefox that I'm not going to try research. I switched to Google Chrome and everything cleared right up.

Firefox was not allowing the Eylsium website pages to display the button at the bottom to create an account.

In other words, I was able to enter my user name and pw and email address, submit it to Elysium, get an email confirmation, verify my email, link back to Elysium from that email, but never have my user name and pw accepted at the Control Panel all because that little button never appeared on the bottom of the page.

You may have had success with Firefox working on this site. Like i said, it may have been some setting or other. I was able to recreate this issue several times. GL to all who follow.
