Jakobud 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2017 I'm working on developing an addon that communicates between multiple WoW players who would have the addon installed. In order to do some testing I need to run multiple WoW exe's from either my computer (via Virtual Machines) or from my laptop and/or other computers in my house using multiple Elysium accounts. Is it a problem to do this? Or is it just a straight ban? This is only for addon testing purposes.
Stylophone 1 Report post Posted March 17, 2017 Would it matter if you got banned at level 1? Do you have to leveling before testing your addon?

I suppose I could make some new accounts just for testing. I just want to make sure the developers don't think I'm trying to do anything devious.
Mimma 10 Report post Posted March 17, 2017 If you need multiple characters online to test your addon. then do that on other servers instead, or you'll get banned for multiboxing.
Guest Report post Posted March 17, 2017 (edited) You can ask real multiple WoW players (your fellow guildmates, for example) to help you with your addon, this won't be considered as multiboxing. Remember, that most terrible things happen from "testing purposes". Edited March 17, 2017 by Jorn Skyseer
