This World of Warcraft has been closed and is no longer available for use

Hello, I'm getting this message when try to log in.

The situation is the following. Last night I payed my monthly internet provider fee, so my IP must have changed after this (I'm using a router). Consequently, I was asked to enter the 6-number code for my 2-factor authorization. I had to re-enter it several times before I figured that I should have done the time synchronization in my Android app. After that I managed to login on the Elysium Project website but when I tried to log in in the game I started to get this message "This World of Warcraft has been closed and is no longer available for use..." and so on.

I'm not sure if I was banned or anything else happened. I've never bought or sold money or done anything against the server rules, so if I was banned it's got to be some kind of mistake. 

Anyone had this issue? Can I regain the access to my account?

There is a system in place that if you type your password or 2FA code wrong multiple times, it will temporarily IP ban you.

This ban should limit itself to between 15 and 60 minutes.

Thank you so much for the answer. Should I try to reload my router to change my IP or should I just wait for an hour?

You can try to change your IP once again, but unfortunately I don't know if it helps or actually prevents you from logging in further.

 

I personally would suggest to wait it out.
