[GUIDE] How to easily farm Grave Moss

Grave Moss is one of the harder herbs to farm, since it only spawns in a few places across the entire world, and in really small numbers. I've tried to farm them in multiple spots, but to no avail.

 

However, a friend told me that you can farm it inside SM: Graveyard, and I found this to be really effective. There is a single Grave Moss spawn inside the instance that is always there, so what you do is just go in, walk past all the mobs, loot that one Grave Moss node, then go back out and reset instance.

 

Sure, you're limited to 5 instances per hour, but:

-it's guaranteed to be there

-no competition, because it's inside an instance

-only takes 12-14 minutes to do 5 runs (without any speed boosts) so the actual amount of time spent farming is pretty low

-usually only have to kill 1 mob, sometimes it doesn't pull though

 

Some people will suggest doing RFD for grave moss, but that is a much longer run, and requires you to kill lots of mobs, which can be a pain in the ass for healers.

 

UPDATE: I've recently discovered that it's faster to just use /camp to leave the instance, instead of walking back out. Can save up to 40 seconds on each run, bringing the total farming time of 5x instances down to about 9 minutes.

Just use this macro:

You forgot to mention the main drawback: utilizing this method, you're forced to spend your time in graveyard.
